Guth na Mara ('voice of the sea') is situated in Gortahork vilage with ocean, river and mountain views. The Accommodation comprises of:
Ground floor: The decor reflects the Ulster cycle of myth and legend. Cú Chulainn and other amazing characters and their feats are told in the murals on the walls.
First-floor: Large kitchen with balcony and dining area to accomodate 8-10. Adjoining large sitting room furnished to a high standard with views of Ballyness Bay.
Second-floor: Beautiful open plan gallery floor with two large double beds and one single bed with views over Balyness Bay and Falcarragh beaches. Lighting is ample and soft. A Lounge area adjoins for your comfort, games provided.
Clients will be met personally by the owner. 'I like to meet and greet you. Many of my clients are repeat clients. The personal touch is important to me.'
Rental Saturday - Saturday Sept-Nov: €450.00 Euro per week
Check in 4pm Jan-Mar: €400.00 Euro per week
Check out 12.00 noon April-May: €500.00 Euro per week
June, July & Aug: €650.00 Euro per week
Non-refundable deposit of €200 euros (sterling £150) secures a booking,
with balance payable 4 weeks in advance of stay.
Bank holidays, New Year's, Xmas and other special times by arrangement.

|Location: Gortahork is a coastal village with
shops, churches, restaurants, outdoor pursuits, pizzaria and internet cafe, all a 1 minute stroll away from the house.
Gortahork is just 5 minutes drive from the beach, the Ards Peninsula and Falcarragh and is just 35 minutes by car from bustling Letterkenny.
Air access: There are flights daily from Donegal and Derry International Airports to Dublin, Glasgow and Galway with Aer Arann and other regional airlines.
Driving: It is a pleasant 3.5 hour drive from Dublin to Guth na Mara. You take the M1 route via Monaghan, Omagh, Lifford and Lettterkenny through to Gortahork. The last part of the drive is really scenic once you take the coastal route from Kilmacrennan as you exit Letterkenny.
Amenities close to Guth na Mara include horse riding; beaches; surfing; diving; fishing; golf at Falcarragh and Bunbeg; hill walking and mountain climbing on Mount Errigal, Muckish and the Derryveagh Mountain range.
Glenveagh National Park is a 15 minute drive away. This beautiful 14,000 hectare park is home to the largest red deer herd in Ireland and 23 pairs of golden eagles. The Park is set amongst a dramatic mountain range around Lough Veagh. There are guided tours of the Castle and a restaurant.
You can also visit the Weaver Cottage and have fun at the childrens' play park in Ionad Cois Locha Dunlewey.

'Note: As a courtesy to neighbours and in keeping with the quiet
setting of this beach house, loud partying is not permitted after 11 pm. Please bear this in mind. If
you do wish to party on into the night, there are ample night-spots within easy reach. There is a taxi
rank near the house and local fares are cheap.
As I am a fluent Irish speaker and author, I will be delighted to advise on matters relating to taking tuition in Irish, Irish music, dance or folklore and crafts.
